I had a great time running the inaugural Latin Music Miami Beach Half Marathon yesterday. The main feature of this series (Rock n' Roll Marathons) is the live music on the course and post-race. This was the stage right before Pitbull came out and did his set.

This is my nifty medal.

The race was well organized and executed from start to finish. I took the boys to the expo on Saturday, the morning before the race.

My sons played in the sand at the Expo on South Beach. It was very well organized.

A nice lady took our picture together.

Looking at the breakdown, I notice that I ran sub-9 for the first four and a half miles, before I took my first walk break. For the next four miles, I slowed down (bridges, humidity) then picked it up at the end enough to break 2 and set a PR - 1:59:31
